I went to the drugstore with my cousin yesterday and I picked up a few beauty items that I wanted to share with you.
I was in desperate need of a new mascara because I recently finished my Covergirl Lash Blast Length. I decided to try the Lash Blast Volume this time. I accidentally picked up the brown-black instead of regular black, but it's not noticeably different. I got the Olympic edition of this mascara, which is why it's in a white tube (as opposed to orange.) This mascara was $7.99.
The next thing I got is a new concealer. My Mac Pro Longwear concealer in NC30 is too dark for me now that I'm losing my tan. I got the Covergirl Fresh Complexion concealer in buff beige. This color is actually a bit too light for me (#concealerproblems), but it's nice for under the eyes and it will be my winter shade. This concealer has a doe foot applicator and it was $6.99.
The next thing I got is a lip balm from Maybelline. I love the Baby Lips lip balms and I posted about them on my blog.. make sure to check out that rave. I actually lost my Grape Vine lip balm when I was on vacation, which I was bummed out about. I decided to pick up a new one that I have been wanting for a while, Peppermint. I love this minty lip balm and it has SPF 20, which is great. The Peppermint Baby Lips was $2.99.
I also picked up a new eyelash curler because my Trim one got very dirty and messed up. I purchased the ELF eyelash curler, which was only $1.00. I don't really like this eyelash curler, however, because it doesn't fit around my eye every well or provide much curl.
The last thing I got is also a lip balm. I purchased this product because I love lip balms and I heard someone talk about this product in a YouTube video. It's the Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Bast lip protectant with SPF 15. I personally think this clear balm smells very sweet and artificial, but the scent doesn't bother me too much. It's a pretty nice lip balm for only $1.00.
I hope you enjoyed this little haul! xoxo, Lauren ♡

What's in my Travel Makeup Bag? ♡
I'm going to an island with my cousins this Friday on vacation. It will be a 15 hour car ride, which is going to be horrible. Oh, well. Today I'm going to be going over what's in my travel makeup bag. I am only bringing my everyday makeup and "necessities."
The makeup bag that I use to travel with is from Sonia Kashuk and I got it at Target. I think it's a nice size for a road trip or a week-long trip, like my next vacation.

Rave: Aussie 3 Minute Miracle ♡
My hair is usually dry, especially in the winter. I never want to trim off the dead ends, though, because I love long hair! Last year, I discovered an amazing product called 3 Minute Miracle by Aussie. 3 Minute Miracle is a deep conditioner that moisturizes and smoothes your hair.
Twice a week, I use this product from my ears down. I don't use 3 Minute Miracle in my roots because it will make my hair oily. I leave the deep conditioner in for 3 minutes. Three minutes seems like a long time to be standing in the shower. It's really not bad, I usually shave my legs or something else.
3 Minute Miracle makes my hair smooth, soft, and untangled. My hair feels best while I'm in the shower with the product soaking in, but once I get out my hair is still fairly silky and soft.
You can find Aussie 3 Minute Miracle at the drugstore and it's pretty inexpensive: http://cvs.com/shop/product-detail/Aussie-Deeeeep-3-Minute-Miracle-Moisture-Treatment?skuId=410406

Makeup Organization ♡
If you are a beauty lover and all your makeup doesn't fit into one cosmetic bag, don't worry because I have some great organizational tips for you. I personally don't like storing my makeup in a bag because the products in the bottom don't get used. I really like storing my makeup collection in acrylic organizers, which I will be talking about today.
My favorite part of makeup is probably lip products. I have a ton of glosses, lip balms, and a few lipsticks. I like to store lip balms and lipsticks in a 12 slot organizer from the Container Store. These containers are also handy for storing shorter products, like minis and concealers. You can find this lipstick holder: http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10030982&N=&Ntt=lipstick+holder
A way I like to store makeup palettes is in a letter holder. You can find inexpensive letter holders at office stores, Target, and the Container Store. They typically have 3 slots, which are perfect to display palettes. I like to store my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette, ELF Makeup Clutch, and Neutrogena Makeup Removing Towelettes in mine. I couldn't find the white metal letter holder online on the Container Store, but I think it was around $7.00
Before I had my desk with a sliding drawer (which I now store my makeup in), I used 3 drawer acrylic organizers from the Container Store. They were perfect to hold my products and I liked how you could see the products through the container.
If you don't have a brush roll, I would recommend you make a homemade brush holder. I made my brush holder with supplies I had in my house. I filled a glass container with rice and put in my brushes.. they stand wonderfully in the container. This brush holder is extremely inexpensive and handy!
I hope you enjoyed these tips and found them helpful! xoxo, Lauren ♡

Haul: MAC ♡
Hi, everyone! I recently purchased 3 items from MAC and received something for my birthday. I decided that I would share this quick haul with you because hauls are fun and I'm very excited about my new products.
The next product I purchased is the Dazzleglass in Glamour OD. Glamour Overdose is a hot pink color with coral and silver shimmer. It looks amazing on the lips and it's not very sticky, which I like. This Dazzleglass is $20.00.
The product that I received for my birthday from my friend Rina is the MAC blush in Style. Style is a peachy coral color that has gold shimmer. It is a gorgeous color that gives you a subtle golden glow. This powder blush is $20.00.
The next product I purchased is from the Heavenly Creature collection. It's a mineralized eyeshadow in the shade Earthly. This eyeshadow has a shimmery gold, metallic olive, and a cream off-white. When you blend all 3 colors together, you get a gorgeous light olive color. This eyeshadow was $21.00.

The next product I purchased is the Tinted Lip Conditioner in Petting Pink. The lip conditioner has SPF 15, which is great for the summertime. Petting Pink is a nice medium pink and it gives a gorgeous sheer pink tint to your lips. This tinted lip conditioner is $15.00, but it is not on the MAC store website.

Rave: Victoria's Secret Body Mists ♡
Over the entire summer, I have pretty much been using two fragrance products, which are both from Victoria's Secret. I really enjoy fragrance/body mists because they are typically less expensive than perfumes, however their lasting power is not as great.
The first fragrance mist is Victoria's Secret Passionate Kisses and it is from the Classics collection. This fragrance mist is a lot larger than the mini Pink body mist. It comes with 250 ml or 8.4 fl oz. This body mist smells absolutely fantastic. It smells like cherries and vanilla, which totally reminds me of cherry soda. This fragrance mist retails for $12.00, however I got it on sale. I went shopping in Victoria's Secret during the semi-annual sale for about $3.00, which was an amazing deal. I really recommend this body mist if you are a fan of sweet, fruity scents. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find this fragrance mist on the VS website.
The next body mist is the Pink with a splash of soft & dreamy. Mine is a mini body mist, which contains 75 ml or 2.5 fl oz. I got the mini so that I could travel with this fragrance. Soft & Dreamy is a difficult scent to describe because it's sweet, but not overpowering. It reminds me of marshmallows and raspberries, which is sort of an odd combination. Next time you're in VS Pink, I seriously recommend you smell this body mist.. I guarantee you won't regret it. The Pink body mist mini retails for $8.00.
I hope you enjoyed this post! xoxo, Lauren ♡

Rave: Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balms ♡
I love wearing tinted lip balms in the summertime. I like that they are moisturizing and hydrate your lips while adding a hint of color at the same time. This summer, I have really been loving my 3 Baby Lips lip balms from Maybelline.
I have 3 Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms and they are all tinted. Maybelline also offers 2 clear lip balms in this line, but I haven't tried them out yet. The shades that I own are Pink Punch, Cherry Me, and Grape Vine. Cherry Me and Grape Vine have SPF 20, which is great because protecting your lips from the sun is extremely important. However, the Pink Punch lip balm does not say that it contains SPF.
Pink Punch is a bubblegum pink color and it gives you a nice toned-down pink lip color. The Baby Lips lip balms smell fantastic. Pink Punch smells like strawberries and cream. Cherry Me is a red tinted lip balm and it gives you a subtle red color. I really like Cherry Me because it's not as harsh as a lip balm and it's not drying. Cherry Me smells like cherries (pretty self-explanatory). Grape Vine is a medium purple color, but it doesn't look crazy on the lips. It gives you a sheer purple, which is very unique. Grape Vine smells like grapes, which is also pretty self-explanatory.
The Maybelline Baby Lips are very inexpensive and easy to find at the drugstore. Prices may vary according to the drugstore where you purchase the Baby Lips, but they are around $2.99 each, which I think is a good price for this amazing product. I really want to try out some of the other Baby Lips lip balms in the future.
I hope you enjoyed this review! xoxo, Lauren ♡
